WIWA Local Classes - Spring 2008

 

Register now for WIWA sponsored writing classes. Take advantage of these local classes to improve your craft, find new inspiration and meet other local writers. Advanced Poetry
December Sunset over the Olympics Mts.

Students will read, analyze and discuss the works of notable contemporary poets around the world. They will also write poetry for critique each week and receive constructive feedback on their work. The Monday afternoon class that begins April 7 is full; however, another class is available as shown below.  Limited to 10 students.

Location: Trinity Lutheran Church
Time: Tuesday, 7 - 9 p.m.
Begins: April 8, ten weeks

Advanced Fiction

View of Ebby's LandingThis workshop is recommended for intermediate to advanced writers of fiction, whether novels or short stories. Class discussion focuses on members’ work, though some discussion of craft (viewpoint, characterization, etc.) will take place. Each participant will have three stories or chapters workshopped during the course. The schedule for turning in material will be set at the first class.  Limited to 10 students.
