Third Tuesday of every month, Whidbey Writers Read
7:30 p.m., 3 Cats Café, located at Bayview Corner at the intersection of Marsh View Ave. and Bayview Road. Local writers read their work. Co-sponsored by the 3 Cats Café, Bayview Arts and WIWA. Writing Groups
The Oak Harbor Writers Group meets the first and third Tuesday of every month from 6 to 8 p.m. Meetings are usually held at the Skagit Valley College, however occasional location changes will be necessary. For more information about the group and to confirm the location, contact WIWA at 360-331-6714 or wiwa@whidbey.com. The group is open to poets, nonfiction, and fiction folks alike.
The Central Island Writers Group meets the second and fourth Wednesday of every month at Anna's Tea Room on Main Street (next to the Methodist Church) in Coupeville at 1 p.m. This multi-genre critique group is informal, friendly, and helpful.
