ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT

Satisfactory Academic Achievement

Students must maintain a minimum semester and cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or better. Falling below this level for one semester will result in the student being placed on probation but allowed to continue courses. Falling below this level for two semesters, whether or not the semesters are consecutive, will result in the student being dismissed from the Whidbey Writers Workshop and not allowed to re-apply for a full calendar year.

Graduation is celebrated at the Residency following the student's completion of all requirements. At this time the diploma and staff will be presented. For a student completing the program in two years, graduation will normally be celebrated during the student's fifth Residency.
