ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS
Wayne Ude serves as MFA Program Director. The MFA Program Director serves as Chief Academic Officer and reports to the Educational Programs Governing Board.. Supervises faculty, conducts faculty meetings, selects and contracts with full-time and part-time faculty, trains faculty as necessary, develops program and courses, advises graduate students, schedules classes including Residency periods, selects and contracts with full-time, associate, and adjunct faculty; usually teaches one course each semester. Also serves as a voting member of the Faculty and as route for normal communications between faculty and Governing Board.
The Business Officer budgets, manages finances, keeps books, develops and supervises staff procedures for spending and receipts, and provides monthly reports to MFA Director and Governing Board and others as necessary. Contract Business Management services are provided by Stephanie Neis Associates.
Elaine Woods serves as Registrar. The Registrar is responsible for registration, maintaining student records including transcripts and assuring privacy of those records, and supplying transcripts to students and at student direction, to others.
Jan Morton serves as Office Manager/Services Coordinator. The Office Manager/Services Coordinator is responsible for supplying information to students and public, supplying information and applicable forms to students, communicating with students, scheduling student advising with MFA Director, and maintaining supply inventory.
s serves as the Online Librarian and Communications Coordinator. The Online Librarian and Communications Coordinator is responsible for online publicity as well as for developing and maintaining the Program's Online Library Web Page and its links to resources on the Internet.
